Duels and Devilry at the Grand Arcane-Tourney: A Re-Roller System Game

Wizards are a curious lot, aren’t they?

Wise, yet not so much as to contain their dangerous magical artifacts. Knowledgeable, yet not so much as to recognise an obviously cursed tome before they started reading it. Proud, yet not so much as to ignore their insecurities. These three virtues have allowed skilled wizards to become some of the most influential persons in the known world, and their three associated faults have rendered this influence bittersweet at best. 

And all six of these traits are clearly exemplified by the quadrennial Grand-Arcane-Tourney.

'Duels and Devilry at the Grand Arcane-Tourney: A Re-Roller System Game' is a rules-lite tabletop role-playing game, based on Ethan H. Reynolds’ ‘Re-Roller System,' for one GM and at least one player. In this game, the players will control magic-users, each with powers as mighty as their egos, as they participate in the eponymous magical multi-sport contest. The players will battle against other teams of occultists in a desperate, self-aggrandizing bid to win glory for their organizations and, more importantly, themselves.

In short, its about a team of hubris-driven weirdos trying to beat other hubris-driven weirdos at magical sports-ball.
